Pro Trolls

Stupid Pro Trolls... T^T

Star Seraph August 31st, 2011, 2:06 am

Pro Trolls are Pro Douches Dx

JackOat August 31st, 2011, 2:09 am

Oh yeah... I find it quite sad that these team of 5 pro premade (I play League of Legend FYI) feel so superior on beating 5 random pub that playing mostly for fun, thinking they are obviously good when they just have the advantage in coordination/knowledge

FinalFreak16 (Guest) August 31st, 2011, 8:46 am

Ha. Looks like she has a tail in the last panel. xD

A title

Guest yo. (Guest) August 31st, 2011, 9:55 am

I stopped joining noob rooms for that reason in tf2, never what they say on the tin. Since it went f2p though those official valve servers have filled the void.

5man premades enter a different queue than other people. The only way a non-5man can fight a 5man is if it's a 4man+1pub, if I recall right.
I have no clue what it is about that game, but I have to 5man, every pub I ever get is complete trash compared to my opponents. You think after spending so much time on matchmaking (they hired some experts a long while back, flaunted it on the site), you would see similar skill levels duke it out.

vggal August 31st, 2011, 12:43 pm

I played LoL quite extensively for a bit and I could never get past the immense hostility by both the opposing players AND my own team mates... D:

I've been called names, got sweared at and really... Just ultimately got turned off playing the game. I know it's not the game's fault, but more of the nature of the game where a single death can cost the team's victory, unlike TF2 where you respawn quite quickly and have a good chance in recovering...

Point is: I think the internet could use a patrol squad. A 'Troll Patrol'! XD

vggal August 31st, 2011, 12:45 pm

:O Iris the Pony!!! XD
(And no, I will not have a MLP cosplay :P)

@Guest yo.

vggal August 31st, 2011, 12:46 pm

I think I have a better time at TF2 at least. The community are less hostile and at least it's funny when you die :P

Nothing funny about dying in LoL :|

@Star Seraph

vggal August 31st, 2011, 12:47 pm

>_< We need the 'Troll Patrol'!! XD

Warning: Not for people with high blood pressure.

Peterdivine August 31st, 2011, 2:10 pm

Thank God for /ignore lists, is all I can say. Even with them, it still takes a deep breath and a ten-count for me every now and then to not flip my shit like a diarrhetic acrobat from some of the just plain uncalled-for dialogue they use as freely as footsteps.

And you're right, there's nothing funny about dying in LoL.

Unless you're playing Rumble. And possibly K'ogMaw and Karthus.

JackOat August 31st, 2011, 2:27 pm

Hmmm that's odd, in the League of legend games i play, its kinda rare for me to see someone rage about death unless the score is horribly negative or intentional.

TF2 is great EXCEPT when you get backstabbed by the eternal reward -_- just feel infuriating (also met this sniper who was so dam good it was frustrating to play).

PaperDrawnDrew August 31st, 2011, 3:26 pm

Drew, reporting for duty. I am the TROLL PATROL!

vggal August 31st, 2011, 3:50 pm

People seem to be more prone to anger these days... Very scary! X(

Dying with K'ogmaw or Karthus does tend to grant you that last minute satisfaction! XD

That is if you succeed... :|

(Fail = Double Rage! XD)

vggal August 31st, 2011, 3:52 pm

I'm sure there are nice people in LoL XD
Many of my friends who play LoL religiously are nice people, but yes... There be monsters out there! X(

And the Eternal Rewards IS infuriating... Not even the sentries will properly catch them if there's no one else around >_<

vggal August 31st, 2011, 3:52 pm

TrentTheFox August 31st, 2011, 4:43 pm

Oh my god, I know the feeling ;-; a lot of noob rooms are a lie nowadays D:

Is a lie

Heroelime (Guest) August 31st, 2011, 5:39 pm

First it was the cake and now this,what else is a lie!!!?

Danjian (Guest) August 31st, 2011, 5:53 pm

Noob rooms attract pros like flies on honey.
I've seen games where they wouldn't let in players above a certain level. The pros would just make alts D:

psychoticLagomorph (Guest) August 31st, 2011, 6:14 pm

I know how ya feel Iris, I've been there so many times. ;A;
Even when the person I'm playing against isn't a troll and is a n00b like they said they were OTL ( so much so I often feel scared to play online games... /glances at TF2 which sits pretty much unplayed since she got the orange box >o<)
Anyway, the expressions are PERFECT as usual, great job with the comic! :3

My Little Iris

Guesty Guest Sam (Guest) August 31st, 2011, 9:30 pm

Iris would be so cute in MLP cosplay! XD

If you refuse on principle, you could put her in a MLP shirt for one comic as a reference to those who read the comments for this particular strip... very obscure. It would make us seem like hipsters for getting the reference.

@TrentTheFox: D: I know! The Noob Room is a lie!!! T_T

@Heroelime: I know! Cake and Noob Rooms, nothing is true anymore!!! ;A;

@Danjian: I guess so :(
I am quite amazed at the Pro Trolls' dedication to make an actual alternate account just to school noobs like me >_<

@psychoticLagomorph: I would feel scared either way. One is facing a Pro Troll, the other is actually meeting an actual noob, but would get phased out and letting it affect my gameplay decisions. Cant' a noob play with a peace of mind? T^T

...Single players it is then! >_<

Oh, and thank you for the kind words as well! XD

@Guesty Guest Sam

vggal September 1st, 2011, 12:15 am

(With hipster glasses)
"Friendship is Magic? I've been following My Little Pony Tales since 1992!"

Making references to Starlight, Sweetheart, Melody, Bright Eyes, Patch, Clover and Bon Bon...

(And go...)
"Oh never mind, you've probably never heard of them"

PaperDrawnDrew September 1st, 2011, 12:24 am

HENSHIN A GO GO, BABY! *Transforms*

Gual (Guest) September 1st, 2011, 7:33 am

There's no such thing like a pro troll! Is like a fat thin man. D:<

F*cking trolls....

pro trolls

snafu (Guest) September 1st, 2011, 9:48 am

This is a reason I don't play a lot of games online is because i know I don't have the time or will to invest so heavily in a game to become so good at it and know all the little nuances that make the diffence. I play for fun, which is often ruined by people who take the game waaaaaaaaaaaaaay to serious. Love the art work and the extra credits episodes!

Been there, done that.

Tarik (Guest) September 1st, 2011, 10:23 am

I can understand that. But then after encountering a pro troll I learned that to get better I needed to either play with or against the pros, such it was. My only problem is that gamers are too bloody Elitist, always insulting and trying to scare away (or even kick) the newcomers because they are either afraid of future competition, they have nothing better to do or they are just too bloody impatient. Also be happy that you are not playing Company of heroes, that online community takes Elitist to whole new level.

New age trolls can't troll

Cider September 1st, 2011, 6:23 pm

Pfft Trolls...Trolling is dead in my opinion, nobody uses wit anymore its all insults and trying to act big. >> So yea don't listen to them and just find a vulnerable area to use wit against them and a loooooooooot of sarcasm, most new age "trolls" have a weakness against showing of actual intelligence.

@PaperDrawnDrew: XD I love Viewtiful Joe!!! Great reference, hehe! :3

@Gual: Garrrr!!! Fat thin men!!! D:<

@snafu: Thank you! XD I'm glad you liked them. :)
As for them Pro Trolls... I've been really trying to be zen with the whole matter really :P

@Tarik: Company of Heroes... D: The game alone is definitely hardcore!!! I can only imagine *shudder*

@Cider: You are part of a member of the Pro Troll Patrol!!! XD

trolls in games are like the men inside speaker boxs

Ausbloke (Guest) September 2nd, 2011, 9:55 am

trolling is a form of agrivating someone without any risk of harm or humilation by the person doing the agrivating, at least in my opinion, the internet (and games) are great for this because of the anomisity (mispelling :D) of it all, if you don't know who you're speaking to how do you properly state your case? you can't! this is why as i said games are great for trolling, since they re-afirm the troll's sence of worth by being 'better' at something, as long as you can't beat them it doesn't matter how much wit you throw at them, it'll just fall below the sounds of you loosing, trolls are best just annoyed when possible, and if you can't ignore them, then it's best to completely destroy them verbaly, throwing every dirty trick you know that's in the book and some you may of developed yourself, but of course, thats a last resort.

random factoid: back in the day if a man was to kill another man in cold blood over the outcome of a chess match it was considerd manslaughter.

vggal September 2nd, 2011, 10:13 am

I will never play a chess match with a peace of mind ever again!!! X(

I try to not get phased with them Trolls, but yes... Not always easy :P

Cardboard Squid (Guest) September 2nd, 2011, 1:21 pm

The Elites have always bothered me. On Team Fortress 2, this scenario takes place way too often; everyone I'm playing along side are decent players looking for fun, while the other team are full of fantastic snipers and groups of engineers who block off EVERY entrance to their base. While I don't join noob servers, which means it's perfectly fine for good players to play against me, it's just sickening to to know that all they do is try to be the best of the best when it's only a game.

Also, if I was in your situation, I probably would of went insane. Can't stand it when I say "Great game guys, better luck next time." while everyone else on the opposite team is taunting and being just generally rude.

@Cardboard Squid

vggal September 2nd, 2011, 2:25 pm

T^T I know! Oh well... Such is the world of online.

It's like the wild west! Anything goes! @_@

Someone called?

Troll #004 (Guest) September 3rd, 2011, 7:00 pm

I like, totally heard someone was talking about Pro-Trolls so I got here as fast as I could.

@Troll #004

vggal September 3rd, 2011, 9:59 pm

Ack! Where's the Troll Patrol!! D:
Hurry! Quick! >_<

PaperDrawnDrew September 4th, 2011, 12:32 am

Sir, I advise that you step away from the Iris. I am the Troll Patrol.

U mad?

Ahksar September 20th, 2011, 9:31 am

Trolling, the lowest form of humour, also, i do it all the time. LOL trolls, hehe

vggal September 20th, 2011, 3:53 pm

@Ahksar: Ahhhh~ You would >_<
But you do it with class ;)
I would know ;P You troll the trolls... So In a sense, you are also a Troll Patrol! xD

Pathetic Trolls

darkMentality September 30th, 2011, 11:18 am

This even happens in MMORPGs I play, like Fiesta and Kitsu Saga. You get these guys following you around waiting until you start to attack something, then taking it out with one hit so you get no experience for it. All the while flooding your whisper with insults. I wish it were just a one time deal, but it happend repeatidly, so I just had to turn off my chat and bear it. And people wonder why there's anti-social types on these game. :X

vggal September 30th, 2011, 2:27 pm

@darkMentality: ;_; It's sad... But true! :|

PerfectDeath (Guest) November 2nd, 2011, 6:20 pm

They are called Smurfs.

They usually make an extra account to play without worrying about their Win/Loss ratio dropping.
